Krebs LG Red Deer, known as Marigold, is one of the first three does that we brought onto our little farm in 2o23. While not part of the initial two does I brought home due to her price, she was the first doeling on Krebs Dairy Goats website that I was obsessed with. I loved the length, dairy grace, and beautiful reddish colors. I managed to convince my husband that she was worth our while.

Marigold’s first freshen showed that while her production was high, her attachments were already subpar. We made the difficult decision (she was my favorite doe) to part with her and sold her to a lovely family. Her daughter Spicy will hopefully improve on her udder structure, she most certainly kept her dam’s sweet attitude.
