Krebs PD Day on the River is the first doeling I purchased in 2024. After hearing good things from her breeder about her dam and her sire, I felt she would be strong addition to our herd. She is currently a little sweetie with a lot of attitude and a voice to match.

Juni’s first kidding went poorly and was an unfortunate lesson for the farm. I’m used to club lambs that can easily carry a pregnancy their first fall to lamb in the spring, Nigerian Dwarves are different. Juni was too small to be bred when I did and even if she hadn’t been a giant, single buck kid was not a possibility for her to kid alone. She unfortunately had to have a c-section. However, Juni’s udder was still milkable and her attitude was that of a trooper. She has tiny teats but the milk flows easily and the udder texture is the best in my herd. We have high hopes for 2026 kidding season to go much better for this goat and possibly retain a doe out of her.
